SUPERINTENDENT - THERMAL CONSTRUCTION
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Arrive at the construction site early enough to commence work

Ability to load and unload construction equipment and materials
-
Work closely with skilled workers And team members
-
Engage in all forms of hard labor that is necessary for the completion of the construction project such as: Installing insulated metal panels, floor insulation, and cold storage doors & equipment
-
Demonstrate knowledge of the use, cleaning and maintaining of tools used on the construction site
-
Carefully utilize hoists, cranes and other equipment in handling of construction materials
-
Capable to work at heights and in confined spaces
-
Ability to handle cumbersome and repetitive manual tasks
-
Demonstrate understanding of and practice safe work habits
-
OSHA training is a plus
-
Must have physical stamina to perform necessary construction work
-
Must be able and available to work for extended hours or work days
-
Must practice caution while performing work duties to avoid injury
-
Must have knowledge of and be able to work with powered construction tools
Oversee on-site construction management and lead a team of thermal carpenters. Skills needed include: Accountability, Communication, Supervision, Scheduling, and Financial Management.

Possess an excellent knowledge of thermal principles and cold storage construction
-
Manage safety, quality control, construction schedule, Production, and work in progress to ensure project specifications and quality are first-class

Represent FREEZ Construction in all Job Site meetings with the general contractor, end user, and other project subcontractors

Collaborate with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability
-
Understand construction scheduling and sequencing

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace

Must Be thorough and detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
-
Possess knowledge to read and understand blue prints, budgets, change orders, safety standards, plans specifications, shop drawings, submittals, manufacturer’s literature, contract documents and specifications, and schedules
-
Must be willing to travel and be on the road most of the year
-
Equipment & OHSA certifications required

Possess strong computer skills (email and Microsoft programs: word & excel)

Must be able to surpass client’s expectations
